My brilliant freelance friends

I'm freelance, and whilst that can feel lonely at times, I chose to see it as a possibility to have lots of incredible collaborators that I can bring into projects with me. Read on to find out more about my brilliant freelance friends (BFFs)...

One of my main goals this year is to get to know other creative, inspired and skilful freelancers with a range of specialisms in the Edinburgh area.

And instead of keeping them all to myself, I thought I'd tell you all about them so you can benefit from them too.

I will only be talking about them if I have worked with them directly, or if I would be confident to collaborate with them on a project. Let's go!...

Mikey Westcott

Videography and photography

Mikey’s unassuming and friendly presence immediately puts people at ease, whether it’s working with young children, nervous interviewees or jittery wedding day couples. I have collaborated with Mikey on a project for Inspiring Scotland and Willow Den Outdoor Nursery, you can see some of his pervious work for them here. I value Mikey's flexibility; he is able to identify challenges ahead of time and work around them. Mikey shoots lots of weddings and is looking to take on more commercial projects. Be sure to get in touch if you need someone adaptable and reliable who delivers fantastic results.
